Hello!

I am new to Sketchup and I am trying to make it work with Google Earth like you showed in the Podcasts n. 4 and 5.  But when I click on "Get Current View" button in sketchup, I don't get anything, apart from the 2 new layers.

The import progress bar goes very quickly. I have tried with different views in Google Earth, but the result is always the same.

I believe all the settings are correct. What is wrong?

I am using a SketchUp 6.0 (6.4.120) free and a
Google Earth 4.2.0205.5730

My computer is a iMac OS X 10.4.11, with a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo and processor and 2GB memory.

Please, help!!

It sounds like everything is working correctly - you should get just two new layers that you then build on top of using SketchUp.

Yes, but I don't see the map in my model as I should.

OK, but if you do see the two Layers, then try this:

1) First check and make sure that the Layers are checked on

2) Then click on the Zoom Extents tool to be sure that everything in the model is displayed.

Did either of those solve the problem?

Yes, the layers are checked on and I used the Zoom Extents tool, but nothing...

I have just done it again right now just to be double sure.
