I would like see some tutorials for Kerkythea, its free which could mean that a lot more people have it (not being able to afford a commercial rendering programme), also maybe a couple of files that can be downloaded to practice on.

I had never heard of Kerkythea until I read this post, so I immediately went to the website to check it out. After looking at the galleries I then registered and downloaded the app. I also downloaded all the tutorials and I'm wondering if you noticed that the 'getting started' tutorial in particular deals with using the sketchup exporter and the correct way to set up the file before exporting. With this and the other tutorials available there I and you should find ourselves well on the way to being able to understand how it all works. Then of course the many hours of practice.

Agreed! That getting started PDF is very useful for SU artists. You don't have to download the program to read the PDF and see if you think you can benefit from Kerkythea. I'm still new to the software but already couldn't live without it.
