I would like to export my drawing and 3D details to dwf or e-drawings as most of my contractors already have this software and it would make life much easier. So how do I do it and where can I get a free down load? Or do I have to buy such a product.

If you're a pc user, you're in luck.  There's nothing available for Mac at this time.  Here's the link:

It's an eDrawing publisher for SketchUp.  It's an add-on.  There is some good information on it at the website.

If you need dwf functionality autodesk has a dwf writer that sets in your system printers folder and functions a lot like adobe pdf.  It is free and does not require any autodesk applications to function.
