hey!

I m using the exportfunction of sketchup to create 2d .dwg or .dxf files of model views to draw plans with them in archicad.

there s always the problem that some dimensions are correct shown and some are not in archicad.

is there a solution, e.x. a specific cad file/version??

 thx ha

when you're exporting CAD files from SKP, you might want to check and make sure that the export settings in SKP are set to export the DXF/DWG files at 1:1 scale.

when you export to CAD you also want to make sure that the perspective view mode is turned off, and make sure that you're looking straight down at the model from a Top view.

you might also want to check the CAD import options in ArchiCAD to make sure that you're using the same unit settings to import each of the files.

i've exported a ton of CAD files from SKP models, and i've never experienced an issue with dimensions getting messed up during the export process.
