what kind of a mouse are you using? did it come with software drivers that you had to install? if so, uninstall the drivers.

if you're using a mac mighty mouse, set the mouse preferences using the basic OSX keyboard/mouse preferences pane in system preferences. set the scroll button to 'click 3'
