I have a question that may just be a mac/win issue, but i figured id ask.  In the videos, a mac is obviously used.  However, on the top of the interface, just above the viewport, he seems to have a tool bar that i cant seem to find in the win version.  The toolbar allows him to flip between views, xray mode, as well as having several sliders.  Is this a mac only item, or is it something you can turn on in the PC version as well?  The xray mode toggle was the main thing i was interested in, but the presence of the toolbar in the videos and not my version has me confused.

thanks for the question. You are noticing a difference between the MAC/PC version.

You can get similar toolbars to appear in the windows version by going to the View > Toolbars menu.

When you open SKP for the first time, it loads with the default 'Getting Started' toolbar. You can uncheck that item from the View > Toolbars menu. And then turn on the following toolbars:

Large Tool Set

Face Style

Google

Layers

Sections

Shadows

Standard

That should get you to where you've got the same, if not more, options above your viewport as I have on my MAC. Keep in mind that you can drag and drop the various toolbars around on your screen to put them where you want them.

PERFECT!  Thank you very much for the quick reply.  I'm not exactly sure how i missed the 'toobars' item under view.

Love the podcasts... keep up the good work!
