soft objects-mattress & pillows?

What is the best way to go about modeling the mattress, blankets and pillows on a bed? Or the soft cushions on a couch. I've done in the 3D Max, but I don't know how to make the sketchup tools work for me this way. Should I try and use the sandbox for a bed?

if you already have it modeled in 3DS Max, you might consider importing the .3ds model into SketchUp and just go from there.
but yeah, if you want to create the model from scratch, sandbox tools come in handy.
