Hi everyone!

I have the free version of sketchup and I was wondering if you can still use plugins and rubies with the free version. And also, can you buy layout on its own or is it only available with the pro version?

some rubies/plugins will work with the free version. 

Layout though, is only available with the Pro Version.

I have not run into any issues moving between free and pro in terms of plugins.  However, I've only got about 5 that I use with any regularity.

I'm wondering what they plan to do with Layout.  Once it comes out of beta I wouldn't be shocked to see it in the free version.  At the same time, it is very much a "pro" work flow component.  Either way, i really don't use it much.  It show great potential, but right now its easily the most buggy part of the sketchup family.
