I'd like to add a monitor to my laptop. I would like to be able to print what I see on the screen at 1/4" -1'-0" on 11" X 17" paper. (I'm currently working on a roughly 1000 sqft main floor addition to a house) Can anyone tell me if a 22" monitor would do the job or am I better off going for a 24" model. Thanks Greg

hi greg, not sure if i fully understand the question, but one thing to note it that the size of your screen doesn't affect how much of your model is printed when you are printing to scale.
there are a number of other advantages to having as large a monitor as possible, so SketchUp aside, if i were you i'd go for the 24" model.
