I would really like you guys to do a tutorial where you make a curved sofa with down filled cushions - or bed with a soft comforter and pillows. I just don't know how to get SketchUp to work for me in this kind of application.
I would especially like to be able to find the path around a soft pillow so you could use the follow-me tool for the piping.
I have learned so much from your tutorials, but I'm an Interior Designer and could love ways to make interiors look more realistic. Pillows, drapes, upolstory, pillows etc. all help make the interior look more realistic. Plus all those elements will be part of our design specifications.
This is a great idea for a tutorial. Thank you for your suggestion.
I've actually done this before to model a bed from West Elm's catalog. I uploaded the bed to the 3D Warehouse:

I used mirrored components and the sandbox tools for the pillows. and it would be possible to use follow-me to create piping around the pillows.
