This course introduces advanced modeling techniques, layer management, section tools, and the import/export of CAD files. You will gain the confidence and the know-how to try just about anything in SketchUp – AND GET IT DONE! Due to the rigorous pace of the course and the complexity of the information that is covered - It is highly recommended that students take the Essentialls 1 and Essentials 2 courses prior to enrolling in the Advanced Skills course.

Students who enroll in this course will be eligible to receive 3 Continuing Education Learning Units (AIA, ASLA).

Students who enroll in this course will receive a free copy of the School Series: SketchUp and CAD DVD ($129 value)

Class will be held at Studio B within Studio Arts. Computers provided at Studio Arts. Students can bring their own laptop and mouse (preferably a 3-button scroll wheel) and have the free version of SketchUp & Google Earth preloaded.

Studio Arts is located inside the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. Turn right at the circular driveway. Park at the "warehouse". We are in Suite 425.
